As with any industrial machinery, flexibility is the key to a successful project integration. Bulldog Wood Shredders are designed and installed to complement your existing factory processes.
It is very common for woodworking factories to use forklift “tipper” skips for collection and disposal of waste wood offcuts. These tipper skips are often located near to the wood processing machinery, such as saws or CNC machines, and then emptied when full.
The Bulldog BD Range is specified with spill plates as standard with every shredder in the collection. These spill plates allow for the safe loading of the shredder from the forklift, and ensure minimum overspill to help with good housekeeping practices. This process is quick, efficient and tidy – and best of all, it utilises existing factory equipment such as tipper kips and forklifts.
At Bulldog Wood Shredders, we can even specify spill plates for either side-loading forklifts or front-loading forklifts at no extra cost!
For our smaller shredders, such as the BD-600, we know that many customers like to position the shredder in their factory adjacent to the processing machinery, where the waste is generated, and fill by hand. With our robust design and low noise principles, this is also a popular and straightforward option.
For larger applications dealing with high volumes of wood waste, such as for large manufacturers or recycling plants, our experienced engineering team can integrate the Bulldog Wood Shredder with mechanical transfer systems such as conveyors, grabs and loading tables maximising throughput for your business.

At Bulldog Wood Shredders, we can offer a wide range of outfeed and extraction options to complement your Bulldog shredder and existing factory setup, depending on the end use of your chipped or shredded material.
Designed to transfer the chipped material into a silo or container for use with a biomass heating system, the Bulldog BD Range can be configured with either suction outlets (for use with an existing or new extraction system) or with a downwards discharge to a rotary valve and closed loop transfer system. The shredded material is then sucked from the shredder into an ATEX silo system for use as biomass.
The same methods can be used for discharging into a trailer for recycling or animal bedding. We can offer a turnkey solution including the transfer system – all you need to provide is a trailer to collect the waste!
Bulldog Wood Shredders can also feed into conveyor systems for processing, and even into a briquetting plant for processing into biomass fuel for sale.

Really happy with the new shredder, it is doing exactly what is expected of it which is all you can ever ask for of any machine. It was installed quickly and efficiently without any issues. We have been running for over a month now and it has performed very well.A. Hynes
